Chooks At The Rooke

Chooks At The Rooke is regenerative family farm located at Cororooke in SW Victoria. We have 3 core values here – Animal Welfare, Ethical and Sustainable Land Practises. We believe nature itself is the best example of sustainability and here we mimic it. Our 50 Angus cows and calves graze the longer grass followed by our chickens who fertilise the land naturally. Our chickens live in state of the art, french mobile eco shelters free roam, scratch, dust bath and perch at night, protected by our 12 rescued maremma guard dogs. Our beef cattle are 100% grass fed and grass finished. Our chickens are both grass and grain fed a mix of 12 different grains and minerals.
